• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

hi
Wondering if anyone has worked out how to have the rear facing wheel cameras on when moving forward - this would great when negotiating tight car parks etc with kerbs!

Cheers

Thks AV8R - just to confirm - Is this the view looking at either the left or right rear wheel (while in forward motion) rather than the rear view out the back?

No not the wheels just out the back. If you want the wheels u just look at the birds eye view. Check your user manual.

Not that I'm aware of. If I have a pressing need to see where the rear wheels are located while traveling in a forward direction, I stop the car and temporarily put the drive selector in reverse. Then I can select the detail view (rearward) that I need. Can't say I've had to do that very often.

You can have the side cameras on when driving but if you go over about 15km the cameras turn off, after that if you hit the camera button on the center console only the rear camera will activate. If you are moving forward with the side cameras on they will show the vision toward the front wheel. They tilt toward the rear wheels when you put the car in reverse and change back to the front when in drive. The overhead 360° view is the only way you can really see near the rear wheels when driving forward but I agree it’s not a close up view and it will turn off over 15km/h.
