Hello,
Apologies if this information is already on the forum somewhere.
On this car with the 3.3T & JB4 and my last with 3.3T & JB4 it always is Cylinder #3 that pulls timing first before the other five cylinders.
Could this be a coil pack issue on #3 cylinder because that's the one that gets all bent (possibly causing some damage to coil) when removing and installing it when changing plugs with not removing the intake method ???
Or is there another reason it's always #3 ?
I'm going switch coil packs and see if it moves with the coil.
Thanks for any info

Yep, number 3 is almost always the leader with corrections. And it happens independently of ambient temperature. My thought is that there may be some position-related issue with the knock-detecting system.

I've got the same problem but cylinder 4. No corrections in any other cylinder and sometimes I'll see 4.5+ on CYL 4.

Swapped to new plug, no change
Swapped coil packs, no change
Swapped in a new injector, no change

Did Terry say to worry about it at all?
