Is anyone running a 255/30r20 tire? I bought some nitto invo tires in this size because they’re basically the same diameter as my stock 18’s. I emailed nitto to get their suggestion on what psi I should run and they suggested 41 in the front but stated that the rear tire at max psi of 50 would only be 1,389lbs and not enough to support the carrying capacity of 1,433lbs per tire. It’s not like I’m ever gonna be piling people in the back of my car and loading the trunk down so I’m not overly concerned....just curious if anyone is running this size and what psi is working for them....thanks!!!

I’m running Front 245/35/19 & Rear 275/30/19, the Tyre Store advised I run 40psi all round, rides nice.

40psi is a bit on the high side. I would say 35psi is a good spot to be, since once the tire heats up it will be at, if not close to the 40psi mark.

Well I can only go on what I was advised to set at cold, once they warm up they are at about 42-43psi according to the TPMS & the ride feels nice & not hard at all.

Where is the 1,433lbs coming from (I'm sure there's a calculation for it, but I'm just not aware of it)? Is this a number Kia provides?

The heaviest (AWD) GT Stinger is 4157lbs, with a near 50:50 weight distribution. So you can assume basically a quarter of that (1040lbs, give or take) per tyre.

Add even four 250lb people to the car, and you're still only at 1290lbs per tyre. Add another 200lbs of luggage, you're STILL only at 1340lbs.

How would you load it up any more to get a 1433lb requirement? Squat under accleration surely couldn't achieve it - under brakes, the weight transfer is all to the front...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
