$2400 is a lot for a windshield

I wouldn't call HUD compatibility guaranteed. Back in my old 2001 Grand Prix GTP, it needed a specific windshield that had a coating on the interior portion of the glass to allow the HUD to not look blurry. This may or may not be the case on modern glass. One way to check, if a part number is marked, is to check the part number of a non-HUD Stinger and a fully loaded Stinger with the HUD and see if the part number is the same on the windshield. If yes, they should be using the same glass.

There is a different part number for the HUD windshield - there is a specially treated area on that portion of the windshield. The last time I checked with my glass shop, they had at least three different SKUs for the Stinger, but no prices at that time (had to get the glass from the dealer).
