Saturday I started my drive out to Phoenix, after 2300+ miles and over 3 days of driving 10+ hours each day, not 1 Stinger was encountered along the entire trip! I was really surprised at that. The today I spotted 2 in the Chandler/Gilbert area. I guess our cars are really a rare beast.

In all my road trips in this car (total est. miles c. 13K), I've seen one Silky Silver in LA and one Ceramic Silver in Atlanta. That's it.

I have been seeing a more in the DC Metro area, figured I would come across a few on my trip but nada. I did come across a car carrier with the new Sorento and I think there was also a K5 GT, the wheel looked different than other K5 but I couldn’t see the tail pipes. I also came across a few of that new Seltos CUV, not bad looking.

I'm back and forth from NYC and NJ and in the last month i only saw one other.
I love the exclusivity of this vehicle.
And he was as surprised to see me! LOL

We've seen a couple on our trips between nashville and asheville... but not a lot for sure! I am also surprised that most of the other stinger owners around here just don't seem to either pay attention or care about other stingers.. only got one acknowledgement back..

True. I know not every owner is on the forums but some don't even acknowledge when you flash your light, honk at them or wave.

In my mind, to purchase a stinger, one has to be at least somewhat of an enthusiast.. but maybe not?

Oh noooo, some folks just like the look of the car. I've been asked several times by older couples about the car, is it comfortable, does it have a V6 engine and one time by an elderly couple driving a Q7, how much does it cost. Their answer after I mentioned, the power ratings, warranty and price, was that it was cheap for such a great looking car. Of course I did mention it was designed by a former Audi designer and engineered by the man that did the BMW M cars. For me it was mainly those things that made me go with it over the G80 Sport I was considering.

I get looks and questions about the car almost everyday..especially since i deleted all the Kia markings.

There's one guy driving a Panthera Metal 2.0 model that always parks down the street from my office. There's also a lady that drives a white GT, I occasionally see her on the freeway, I guess we must have similar schedules because I've seen that car a few times.

This is in and around San Luis Obispo, CA, so if that's anyone in here, don't be a stranger! lol
