I have seen other discussions of people removing the 20 amp 4WD fuse to send all power directly to the rear wheels.
I’ve just tried it for the first time today (car was off). When I started it, the AWD error light was illuminated, still on the dash. I turned it off and replaced the fuse and the error code obviously went away.
I have only see people do this with GT models and mine is the GT line. I wasn’t sure if that could perhaps be the cause of the error?
Is it safe to drive with the error light on? I’d assume it is, as it’s only redirecting where the powertrain is distributed.
