Hey man, as someone who is new to the car scene after getting my Stinger, I think Straight Pipes are probably one of the most honest car reviewers on the internet. Obviously Throttle House and Motor Trend have more experience in the car scene but Yuri and Jakub are trying to penetrate a segment of YouTube that is flooded with other competitors. Their cinematography is fantastic and they tell you what you want to know when looking at a new car, whether it's positive or negative.

I, for one am looking forward to watching the video later today.

I have watched hundreds of car vids and dozens by these 2 ....................you may change your mind .............I did ................

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I've watched maybe a dozen car videos (alright, maybe a few more than that). I found this intro to the Straight Pipes boys entertaining. They mock themselves. That's a good deflecting way to may inroads where the competition is fierce. Also, they look fast without being asshats about it. I won't be subscribing; because, as I've said a bunch of times, I'm not really a "car guy".

I crossed shopped the Golf R when I bought my Stinger, came to the same conclusion as them on the exact same points. Straightpipes does an excellent job talking about the stuff us normal car people look for in cars. Whether you like their personalities or not is just personal preference, for instance I can't STAND Doug DeMuro yet he has a huge following.

I can just imagine: "THIS is Doel, it doesn't sound as cool as Doug but more on that later. I will review all his quirks and features and then take him for a test drive. At the end i will give him a Doug score." LOL I think the straight pipes do a better job at engagement.

Started off ok.. When they REPEATED that the Stinger has a ZF 8-speed, they lost a lot of cred.

When you have to do so many cars, I can't imagine you let some things slip. They're not hyper-focused and tunnel-visioned on our cars like we are so I'd give them some slack.

Overall a good comparison.

I prefer Savage Geese's reviews. I like that he goes into the nitty gritty on cars like creaks, rattles, underbody cheapness hunts, etc. There are hundreds of reviews giving 0-60, skidpads, driving impressions, but he gets into the grit, and I feel he is honest. He gave the Stinger crap for making creaks and noises, but also mentioned where the car is good, seems he wasn't wrong.

I like these guys for the same reasons expressed above. They are relatable.

Having owned a few VAG products and now my first Kia, one big thing I’ve noticed after working on both is how over engineered the Germans are. Everything is a PITA and costs an obscene amount of money, even what should be simple, like swapping a door handle.
