Hello all,
I've been looking around for how to activate launch control on my 2023 Stinger GT2 AWD, Internet says , put in sport mode, and hold down TC until SC turns off then foot on Break and gas until message pops up, then release break? Am I missing something here? I know car has to be warm. Also some Midjourney art!

Thats how you do it, but your steering wheel also has to be straight. from the factory it will rev to 2100 and hold there for 3ish seconds and then stop. release anywhere in that 3 second window and you will launch, though its not really a launch as youre still at 0 boost.

your stinger looks like that and you don't know if your launching? lol.

you have to hold the disengage button for about five seconds and hear two beeps. the first beep comes as soon as you push the button and you get the info that traction control is disengaged. the second beep says stability control is also disengaged now or it could be the other way around I don't remember. when you push the accelerator holding the brake it will say on your lcd screen 'launch control ready' and you push the pedal all the way and immediately let off the brake.

That is a Render!!, and what does that have to do with me asking a question, usually guys who install body kit route etc, don't race it, so its possible I don't know yet. Maybe If I add a little Snicklefritz it will work...lol

I have yet to be able to successfully enable launch control . Sport mode/traction stability off/brake + gas...no luck.

Maybe I'll give it a go again tomorrow.

You have apply a good amount of brake force and the gas pedal needs to be to the floor.

agree on the brake force. But my "launch control is ready" sign comes on almost as soon as I press the gas pedal. I don't floor it until I let go of the brake.

If you're not tuned, you may as well put it to the floor when you are using the LC, because it will only make the car slower by not having it already there. The computer takes care of the rest. If you're tuned then its a different story.

I 'put it to the floor' just not before I let go of the brake. Ima pushing down smoothly, I see the 'lc ready' sign and am releasing the brake at the same time as I reach the kickdown switch.

Potato Pa-tat-o? (I have no idea how to translate that into text) It all does the same if the car is stock.
