Hello All,

Ive narrowed down my choice for a new-to-me car to a Stinger. There is a CPO 2022 Stinger GT1 AWD in my area with 7k miles at $45.5k. Someone pointed out to me that this is essentially the new MSRP for that model year.
* What would be a target price to attempt to negotiate down to?

* Any reason not to go with this year/model? Looks like some standard features were turned into options that year?

* At that pricing, should I just go for a new gt line awd?

Im driving an 2008 Audi A5 currently, but need a 4 door for family reasons and would appreciate a warranty as Im up to 100k miles.

Thanks

The price seems high. I see a lot of the same trim, same year for under 40. But they probably are not cpo, with "only" 60k warranty. So 41-42 will be fine, in my opinion.

the 2022 GT1 is the only trim you want to avoid, as it strips a LOT of standard features from the 2021 Model year and makes them exclusive to the GT2. Also, 45k is 2022 GT2 pricing.

Thanks for the reply. Seems like they're all over-priced in my area.
What features disappeared? The one im aware of of is the memory seats.

Thank you for the info.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
check out these prices on a local listing. New and Used Cars For Sale | KSL Cars you can tell that what you are seeing for that '22 gt1 is in the ballpark. Ima not saying it's reasonable, just typical. and some of these in this listing are up in the night.

The 22 GT1 also lost the 15-speaker Stereo and the front parking sensors.

I paid $46k for a CPO 22 GT1 AWD, but I got it in 2022. That’s at least $4k too much, approaching used (not CPO) GT2 territory. If you could get like 4-5k more than expected for your trade-in, it’d be alright. I wouldn’t step foot in the place unless they’re open to negotiating
