My wife just traded her 19 Rubicon for a 22 Stinger GT Elite Suede model I love this interior. Suede inserts, dash covering, and door panels. Red stitching and I was hesitant about the red seat belts but I like them.
I really like suede, the only problem is suede is not the most durable material. My 2001 Lightning has suede seats with leather inserts, they are in terrible shape now and will be getting replaced but I feel that they are probably more durable than the suede that comes on cars these days. I wonder how that suede covered dash panel will not hold up over time.
I live in MN, which borders Canada, for years you could just go over there no problem. I know you definitely need a passport now. Not sure about registration though.
I think they allow any year to be imported including current year used just not brand new off the lot. Might be something to look into with the exchange rate and these cars are near the same price US or Canadian. Mine was $52500 Canadian.
