2021 Korean K5 Media drive

not feeling that DRL strip but the rest of the car looks pretty good, better than the current IMO. Still too many faux vents, but it's not meant to be a sports car...

Really, the Optima has remote start and parks itself for way less. Kia should have given us these things at the price range we are paying but I digress!

We got 365hp and 376lbs of torque, Brembos all around and quad exhaust. They can keep the self parking feature haha

PS: Canadian owners got remote start with a free UVO subscription.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Here is a closer look at the car in 4K, sadly not in English.

These new features will make their way to the Stinger, most likely for the (2021 model year) face lifted version. All those tech features should make it on the Stinger as well as other vehicles in the line up.

Remote start is the only thing I wish I had... I’ll park my damn self lol

LOL! I guess there are enough places where the parking spots or garages are so tight that this feature is needed by some. I like the idea of the cameras to show your blind spot when changing lanes, that is a really good idea however, we all know there are tons of folks that like to change lanes without signaling, so probably not the best thing overall but useful to those of us that do.

I noticed a design features on the car that is unique, there is a slight bump on the area where the door switches are, seems like it is there to prevent accidental activation of the window switch. I would have preferred the volume and radio button in the center of the dash as opposed to on the screen. Speaking of the screen, the bezel is too large compared to the display size, they should have placed the buttons on the bottom of the screen, on the dash area.

That huge bezel connects the infotainment screen to the IP cluster's screen as well, I hope ours comes as 2 separate items similar to the K9's with the button on the dash. My personal preference out of all the ones I've seen so far.

They could do something like the Seltos' infotainment setup, if it doesn't raise the screen too high.

The Telluride also has a large bezel, but they incorporated the control buttons in the dash.

The dial for gear selection is nice, I see they incorporated the seat heating/cooling and drove mode dial from the Stinger into the car. The "wood" and silver trim does break up the monotony of the black interior, plus having the ambient lighting at night will make things look nicer. I do hope they have some other material than the piano black for the center console area, it is a bit much. I noticed they are using Krell again for their audio system, but the rear door only has speakers on the lower section. I do however, see 3 sets of grill covers on the rear parcel shelf so I guess the mids and tweeter are going there.

For the Hybrid folks, they have solar panels on the roof.

I like that they didn't make the hybrid front vastly different to the standard car.

However, I think it's time they upped the wheel size to 18s

Nice car but, once again, who will buy another sedan at the numbers Kia is expecting with the SUV craze going strong? Heck, if they discontinue the Stinger, I might go the SUV route myself when my Stinger gives up the ghost.

Wow, the K5 has really come a long way. Love all the improvements and features, this clearly shows the direction the company is taking as this is their mid level sedan entry.

I'm curious to see what the wagon variant will be like. It would be nice to see them do a ProCeed GT style K5 SW, they could go a bit further and add in some electric motors along with the 2.5T and make a K5 Sportback RS. Make the power close to 400/400 with both systems engaged. Yum.

I'm not a wagon guy so I think it would be horrible!
