2021 GT2 Auto Start/Stop

I recently got a 2021 GT2 stinger in the US (not the refresh). Something I noticed is that my auto start/stop will stay turned off until i press the button again, even if I turn the car off. The last time I turned it off was on Friday and it’s still off. Has anyone else with the 21 model experienced this? I haven’t seen anyone talk about it.

2021 GT1 - Auto off works until I press the button (which turns the console light ON, oddly) at which point the engine no longer turns OFF when stopped. After that drive cycle, it turns ON again as most here have complained.

Weird, could be the wiring in my car or something I guess?? Idk not complaining though hahaha

You're confused by the light. @datalux is correct, read his post again and you'll understand.

the light found above the button in the console illuminates when the auto stop/start is OFF. it is always on by default unless you push the button to turn it off

Welcome. Your car will be a unicorn if the ISG stays OFF when you turn your engine off.
