While I owned a 13,14, and 16 Optimas the phone icon area showed the signal strength and battery life; iPhones always.
As you can see with my current iPhone 11, my cell phone icons are pretty sparse; am I missing anything here?
Is there a way to get the signal and battery strengths to appear?
I noticed Stinger 18’s and 19’s have the battery strength and signal strength indicators, but maybe not the 20’s?
The multimedia book does not show those phone icons, so maybe they just appear any longer?

Odd. I have the full array. 2018 gt2.
I can’t imagine they’d take them away on later models.

iPhone 11 Pro.

perhaps delete then re-pair your phone. Make sure notifications are enabled (not sure that would impact your icons).

Why oh why was something like that removed.
I got my car on Thursday and the direction in the compass will flicker every ten seconds or so; I recorded it for the dealership on E and S.
I recalibrated twice, but it still does it; weird.

Hopefully it gets fixed. Small issue but definitely annoying considering it's a new car.

I saw on another forum a 2020 GT1 is having the same issue as me.
I read online with other manufacturers that the mirror might be losing signal this causing the compass display to flicker.

I have a hypothesis: old firmware on UVO? I don't know how to check firmware version, however.

That is a good thought, but another 2020 GT owner does not have the signal and battery strength icons as well.
The Multimedia Guide for the 2018/19 model years shows those icons, but in the 2020 version that I have they are not listed.
Why those icons were removed for one reason or another is weird to me.

Are you using old software ?

What version are you running on your stinger.

I am pretty sure these icons were removed in version 13.5 software, or possibly removed in V 13.0

Why those icons were removed for one reason or another after they were on the 18 and 19 yeas is beyond me.

The icons were removed in v13.5.

I was having an issue with an HD radio station causing infotainment reboots. Called in an was mailed an update to 13.5, which fixed the problem, but the signal strength and battery icons were removed.

I had a feeling a newer update of software/firmware was the problem, and not seeing the icons in the 2020 Multimedia book gave me the answer to.
Not sure why something as simple as that was removed, but I’m sure it was to save a penny or two.

When I saw you having the same issues, I felt some sort of comfort I wasn't a one-off. Unfortunate there are any issues within days of driving off the lot, but comforting I'm not alone.

When a call is going on, I can see in the area by the number/name the wording of Verizon and the signal strength and battery strength, but again only when a call has initiated
