I bought this car in September and just haven't driven it. I got the AWD model thinking I would drive in winter, but I just can't bring myself to drive when weather is bad. Totally stock, no dings, dents, or defects. Totally as-new condition. I sold an MX-5 and got the Stinger, but I think I will go back to a 2 seater. I am in Great Falls, Montana. 2019 Kia Stinger GT2 All Wheel Drive - 2700 Miles - cars & trucks -...

That's a heck of a deal!

Looked at your ad - as far as I understand the 10 year warranty is not transferable to the next owner

Are you sure, I thought it can transfer from a private sale. My first Kia way back in 2006 I bought used in a private sale and the warranty was still good. The Kia dealership fixed some issue with the cat converter under warranty when it failed emissions a few months after I bought it. It was a 2005 Kia Sadona.

This is my second Kia, my wife had an Optima prior to this. When we sold the Optima the dealer said the new owner could transfer the remainder of the 5 year, 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. As far as I know this applies to all Kias, not just the Optima.

5 year/60,000 mile power train warranty is correct. The standard 10 year/100,000 mile power train warranty is only for the original owner. It is reduced to 5/60,000 for the second owner, unless it is Certified by Kia. The other warranties (bumper to bumper and roadside assistance) fully transfer with 5/60,000 coverage.

They state it varies by vehicle, but in general, the basic warranty transfers and the 10yr does not unless it is CPO.

The car is sold. Carvana offered me $38620 to buy the car outright, so I took their offer. It was a very easy experience, signing took less than 10 minutes and the money was wired in my account the next day. It was a fantastic car, but I just didn't drive it enough to justify keeping it around.

That's pretty amazing. In another post, you said your buyout was $38297.39, which I assume represents everything you paid to Kia? So you made money on it?

Considering I had to drive to California to give it to them, I wouldn't say I made money. I certainly didn't lose money though. :-)
