I left this comment:
"... for a Kia", is getting old; way overused meme.
1:36 "...busy Logan canyon road"? Logan, Utah? (is there another Logan canyon in the world?)
You are a good talker. But your video sounds "schizophrenic".

There are two of "you", the driving loud guy and the quiet standing guy.
The Stinger
aftermarket is already good and getting better all the time. The
kiastinger.com Stinger Forum has far more active posters who are modders/tuners than people like me who are simply stock car owners.
Twin turbos are more responsive than a twin scroll turbo. But an inline six is a completely different animal, as you point out. Acceleration lag is minimal on the Stinger. You just need to engage the kick down switch. Push harder (faster)!
Hyundai Corp does target the enthusiasts who want/demand a manual transmission: the
Genesis G70 has a manual if you want one; same running gear and mostly the same platform as the Stinger, but sportier and shorter wheelbase (aka no hatch: less practicality for long distance traveling and carrying stuff).
RWD, or AWD with RWD bias (the new MY20s are reported to come with D-AWD, which means a setting that goes 90%+ RWD: the "D" stands for "Drift mode"): Being an automatic doesn't restrict the Stinger from hooning one bit (much though I hate the very thought of treating a Stinger that way).
I have a Silky Silver GT1, in West Jordan.
