2019 GT1 or GT2 AWD

Looking for advice on pricing on a couple cars. This is in south western PA

GT1 AWD
$41,800 Plus tax

GT2 AWD
$45,800 plus tax

These are both ceramic silver with black leather. I wanted red but seems to be hard to find.

Should I bite the bullet and get the GT2?

I recently got more than 4,000 off ($3,500 off + Remote start + cargo tray seat back) of MSRP ($54,015) . Looks like your prices include lease or financing incentives. I went with GT2 just to have everything. One thing if you want red interior then wait, find and get one.

Then it is pretty good deal. I would still do lease and then buyout if taxes are not complicated.

Edit: That's a discount of $5,880 (assuming car doesn't have anything else installed from factory) which will make selling price below invoice. That's pretty hefty for 2019.

6,500. You pay few things extra when you do lease buyout, tax on 6500, in few state tax twice on full or partial car price, 650 (acquisition fee) and 300 (buy out fee) in fees.

If you aren’t married to getting a 2019 and could settle for the 2018, you can get a little more off both with the lease cash. Around my area (SW Ohio) there are still quite a few 2018 GT2s around. Lease cash on a 2018 gt2 AWD looks to be $8000. Just some food for thought

I would go in assuming that the quoted price includes some of the Kia rebates, but I think using the lease buyout method would get you below the $45,800 mentioned in your original post. Looks like Pennsylvania is a nice state when it comes to taxing leases so you shouldn’t get double taxed

I would skip 2018 for almost same price, 2019 less TSB, problems fixed, new features (360 camera, heated seats, wireless charger).

I just wanted to avoid all issue and 360 camera was nice add. Wireless charger will be helpful on long trips for me, currently have one at work desk.

Yes. But I’d try to ge the color combo I like best, first. I waited on the ‘19s hoping for white with red.... now I’m just waiting for the cash incentives

A month in I still wish I had a ceramic w/ red interior, but I got such a great deal on my hichroma red that it's hard to be that upset about it ha.
