Please bring all the exterior/interior colors to the USA. I'd love to see GT2s in Silky Silver with Red, Chroma Blue/Grey, Panthera with Red.

What about you guys?

Panthera with Red - yes please

It would be good if the brought all the exterior and interior color combos to the US. The Silver on the GT trims should be better than it is, as in make it stand out more. Deep Chroma Blue was the color they showed at dealers but never brought it to the US, then they showed it with a full brown interior for the Atlantica and still haven't brought it out. I think a 2 tone brown/black would look good, would have to see the full brown to decide. How about a charcoal gray as opposed to the light "grey" as in the type we get in our hair as we age or that Sienna Brown from the K900, Mahagony or Terracotta from the Sorento.

Silky Silver with Red was there on few initial 2018 stingers. Kia stopped offering grey interior on GT models for this year. Would have liked Panthera metal with red as in Canada.

For me, this is the sole remaining reason why I will not be buying a Stinger. I have spoken in depth and often about the issues I have with how Kia is handling the Stinger including the constant teasing of the one color they will not even offer here and how ridiculous it has gotten.

To some extent, I kind of get that in order to control costs they can't do unlimited combos. However, they're playing it too safe with the combos they offer. I think a fair number of people like the mixed interior (i.e. red or gray leather). Especially, Red. They need to get a lot more cars out with the Red leather option.

For me:

#1 Deep Chroma Blue w/ Red Leather
#2 Deep Chroma Blue w/ any other color leather
#3 Panthera Metal w/ Red Leather

Since I cannot get my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice in combos, I'm just going to have to opt out and they'll just have to not get money from me.

They should probably consider at least allowing some limited custom factory orders. I'm sure people would take them up on it even if they charged a bit extra for the privilege. These would be almost guaranteed sales and the few that fell through would still likely sell because there is a certain amount of demand for combos that are not just safe combos. Perhaps, in addition to the 500 Limited Edition models that they claim they'd like to offer (still haven't heard about any for 2019 other than the Atlantica they teased and killed), they could also try offering up to say 50 special order combos per month. I bet they would be pleasantly surprised at the number of people they get trying to get one of those slots each month.

I agree. I wanted a red interior on my Ghost Grey exterior but alas, it's only offered in the US.

Audi has their Audi Exclusive program but it starts at $2,500 for just a custom exterior color. If Kia wants to roll with the big boys, they will need to offer some of this customization. 6 exterior color options and no choice of interior color (in Canada) is pretty limited in comparison to what the Germans have out there.

I agree 100% with the poor color options. I don't like dark colored leathers for interior of cars, gray and beige are pretty standard interior color offering for most cars but not the Stinger. It makes me think they are trying to market this car as a sports car versus someone looking for a clear upgrade over an Accord/Camry or as a compact SUV alternative. It is the only thing stopping me from buying this car, I will probably wait a year to see if additional color options are offered and if they aren't I will have my hand forced to go the route of a compact SUV.

Maybe not offering these options is one of the big reasons it's not as costly as an Audi?

Although I got the Deep chroma blue w/Black leather I ordered red leather but was told whilst waiting it would be an extra 4 months! Would have liked the grey (gray) leather offered over there- not an option here only black and red. Have seen the infamous brown interior on the ltd edition "Rafa" (LTD to 150) model trust me you wouldn't like it. Exterior Rafas came in the 2.0 model GTline style and came in 3 exterior colours Pathera grey, aurora black and deep chroma blue. 6 months later there are still brand new ones on dealers lots un sold.

6 months, the Rafa Edition was launched for the Aussie Open last January, I saw one at my dealer & the funniest thing was the young lady who sold me my Stinger pointed at the Rafa Edition & said “how in the hell am I going to sell that”......the expression also on her face was gold.

I'm sure its the brown interior that's the deal breaker- thoughts?

Mmm. Your'e bold wait until you're on the end of his acid key strokes:laugh::laugh: what's the count now 2, 5, 10 victims? A forum "Ace" perhaps. That multi colour car has no white?

No victim here

Perhaps, that was why they decided to scrap the Atlantica here in the US. I wasn't sold on the Brown interior either (wasn't sure if the brown & black dash components were of good enough quality to mesh well enough), but would have probably gotten it anyway since that would have been the only way to get a DCB here in the US.

Color combos that are already standard options elsewhere should not warrant a great change in price. Also, they've already offered most of the colors here that they currently have in various forms (except Deep Chroma Blue) and as of 2019 they now offer most of the physical options (360 cam, rear heat). Yes, you have to get a GT2 to get everything, but at least they offer it.

So the only thing left is to just offer the opportunity to get color combos that are at least orderable elsewhere. I think they offer DCB in Australia with a color upcharge fee. Ok, fine I'd pay that. For 2019, they've already started doing that in the US for certain colors anyway. I'd also be fine with waiting 4 months to get the Red leather interior if they only would offer the option to get it. In fact, knowing that a certain number of people wouldn't or couldn't wait that long for red leather only makes me think that it would be a more exclusive color combo and then I'd be more willing to wait on it.

Even if they are afraid to offer more combos standard, they can still just allot a certain number of spots on the boat for a limited number of special orders and charge a bit more for them. I don't even really consider them custom orders because they would really just be the same color combo possibilities they offer elsewhere.

Dcb was a $695 AUD$ upgrade so not to much to pay . I maybe wrong but I think white and red were extra as well? It's the "pearl paint".

Hey there @Ozstung , your right about the Deep Chroma Blue and Snow White Pearl , the Aurora Black is the other colour that costs $695 extra, not the Hi Chroma Red.:)
