Hey All,

Bought a new Kia Stinger it has park assist but no lane change assist and enhanced driver assist package. I am not sure, how I missed it when I bought it. I thought the premium came with the entire package. After buying went to the dealer and he said they cannot install it, I need to try aftermarket that will cost me $10k. Any ideas/suggestions. I am pretty sure it is configured to put on these bells and whistles. Can I DIY? or can someone suggest how to get it on.

Nope. Only the GT2 comes with the entire driver assist package. The Premium gets better wheels, sunroof, Harman Kardon surround sound with fifteen speakers, LED headlights and rear turn signals; 7" LCD color instrument cluster; power tilt and telescoping steering wheel; 8" touch screen. Other stuff, but that's most of it. If you intended to get the driver assist package, maybe it's not too late to do a trade? *optimistic*

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Ok, Question I have - Is there a way I can get the driver assist package installed? The dealer said YES but they could not do it maybe somewhere aftermarket. I am trying to find out how much would it cost to get it installed, someone who could do it for me?

Unfortunately your chances of having that done are zero. You could trade car back and get GT 2.
Also can you edit your profile to show city/state thanks.

I will live with it then I guess. Trading in would be a loss of few thousands and then buying another one would be another premium. But will keep looking if someone could do it for me.

I would expect it would be cheaper to sell what you have and buy what you want. Those packages use sensors and buttons and programming your vehicle simply doesn't have. It's also possible you're going to need different external body panels in places. Besides all the parts - which are probably going to be difficult to obtain - the labor would be insane.

Best option is to get another one. You would need an entirely new front bumper with the radar cluster, new sensors all around which would probably mean more body panels, new buttons in the cabin with all the required wiring, software update which I'm not sure how you would even get. Yeah, no way.

Completely agree. Wouldnt be worth the cost. You’ll for sure need new side mirrors and then all of the sensors with wiring harness behind the front bumper.

You are embarking on the instructive path of assembling a car from its constituent parts instead of buying it built from the manufacturer. Look at how much a windshield costs, at least $2K! A GT rim is $650! Each part is grossly more expensive than it costs when purchased as part of an assembled car from the factory. So, you take your Premium and start buying and adding on the various pieces/parts that make up the driver assist package, and by the time you're done (if it even works properly) you are into it many more thousands of dollars than if you just (as @eflyguy said) sold it and bought what you want.
