I'm looking at one MSRP is 48,400.

I'm thinking they have to be getting pretty desperate to move 2018 models. Still quite a few of them in the area.

They're listing savings 2550, financing 2500, loyalty 3000 and military 400. I only qualify for the first two. I'm thinking of offering them 38K. Is that outrageously low? Could I go even lower. I'd rather be lower than they are willing to go and come up a bit.

Thoughts would be appreciated!

Yes I would say at least 12,000 usd at least off of MSRP. Unless they charge you 2,000 over for window tinting and ends up being 10,000. Push high and see how low you can go, push!

The worst they can say is no.

Last December I got a '19 GT1 AWD in ceramic for a bit over $38K. An 18 without AWD should be much less.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'm looking on Edmunds site

Eastern MA, I search out 50mi and found quite a few 2018 models
Any color you're looking for specifically or are you open. I work for a dealer in NY and have a 2018 GT1 in micro blue with driver assistance package left over that assuming you qualify for loyalty and financing offers I can probably get real close to the 39k mark

This one does have AWD. What was your MSRP? What discounts?

It seems to me looking the car I am interested in that savings 2550 is coming from the dealer and the rest (financing 2500, loyalty 3000, military 400) is coming from KIA. I looked on Edmunds and it says the invoice is around 43K.

I have a mini cooper to trade. This day in age maybe my mini identifies as a kia can they give me the 3K ;)

Why don't you PM me and we can talk. Our car is a 48,585 MSRP car, but we also have a mini cooper dealership in our group, so maybe I can make some magic happen if you are willing to come out to Rochester.

Unfortunately no to the loyalty, I have good credit so I assume financing would be yes

Let me think about it that is quite a trek I'd have to work in a visit to Niagara Falls

MSRP was $49,010. That includes the cargo tray, trunk net, and bumper applique, and extra $495 for ceramic silver paint.

I don't have the specifics in front of me, but the dealer discount was like $5400, plus lease cash of $4900 and n/c for options. Price before TTL was mid $38K. IMHO any dealer selling an '18 that doesn't include a discount of well over $5K deserves to sit on the car a while longer.

Good luck, and remind them that they're selling an '18 in '19 and need to discount appropriately! Otherwise it could be totally worth a cheap one-way flight to another city; I'm in the DC Metro area and there were 3 dealers within $250 of each other at that price.

Also, I only leased it because the lease incentive was so aggressive. I just bought out the lease but could still take advantage of that discount!

First of all, you typed the wrong number: you mean 38,400. Or else the rest doesn't make any sense. Later, a post also mentions 48K. Ridiculous that any GT1 AWD would cost that much even brand new. Throughout 2018, the AWD GT1 MSRP was c. 45,500.

By now, any MY18 GT1 should be out the door around $40K or less. That would mean well below $40K before taxes and licensing.

If you add the drive wise 2k package and destination you are up over 48k. I'd like to pay 38,400 ;)

Ah, the drive wise package: I hadn't even considered that. It's because I haven't known of a GT1 that was purchased with it. Anyone on here with a GT1 didn't want the "nannies" and opted to buy the much less expensive trim. If you are going to get the drive wise, why not just push a bit higher and get a full GT2?

In early Feb I got a lease price of $38K for my '18 GT2 AWD w/ staggered 19" wheels. Remote start was the only goodie not on it. Sticker was $52K. Had 490 miles on it since it was on the lot for 300+ days and must have had lots of customer demos and weekend take homes by the salesmen. I am going to buy it out refinance it as soon as I sell my '15 WRX. Lease incentives were nearly $7K over buying.
