I don’t remember if I posted my experience with my 2018 GT1 AWD with 18” rims. So here goes. At 17k the oem pads needed to be replaced. My mileage was about 60% highway/40% city. 95% of the time the car was driven with only me in the car. I’m an enthusiast driver...most of the time I drive reasonably with occasional spirited drives. I’ve driven all kinds of cars and never had pads wear out anywhere near such low mileage. FYI, I explained all of this to my dealership. They contacted corporate and got the go ahead to replace all pads no charge. I’m at about 34k and the replacement oem pads seem to be holding up. My experience may have been an outlier but if anyone has the same problem, insist that your dealership contact corporate on your behalf.

Same year and trim here with 18k miles and i'm getting some squealing occasionally from the brakes. I've never had brakes wear out that fast either. Will check with the dealer but will also look about getting aftermarket pads cause these OEM ones don't grab very hard at all and i've thought that from driving the car off the lot.
