Anyone else experience engine failure at 60,000 on a maintained 2018 stinger gt2 that Kia has refuse to warranty

come on. more details required. nobody here has had a failure, whatever that means, that KIA didn't warranty within the drivetrain warranty period. unless the engine was no longer stock and KIA claimed the mods caused the engine failure.

+1 please provide more details

So, you've bought an extended warranty, and the "warranty company" refuses to honor it? That's a separate issue. Why won't they honor the warranty? KIA should cover a "blown" engine up to 100,000 miles, no mods, maintained, no excuses. Try a second opinion about "debris in the engine". If all you are getting is a check engine light and no symptoms of a "blown" engine, then something is not adding up.

How do you know that the engine was never modded? You are not the original owner if you bought an extended warranty before 100,000 miles.

We bought the car at 20,000 miles Kia’s claimed at second repair debris was in cylinder. The car was service for each oil change at Kia dealership an no modifications were noted but I don’t no positively. There was no need prior to oil pressure sensor to open up engine for any recalls or service. Kia corporate tried to get dealership to replace engine at their cost they refused extended warranty just kept us paying for diagnostic testing and after 5 months said it’s just a fuel injector problem. Another repair shop said engine was blown Kia could not figure out what was actually wrong or why the engine failure occurred

You bought the extended warranty. How is repeated diagnostics and "blown engine" not covered? You did nothing wrong. They did. Or nobody did. Either way, it's on them to honor the warranty that you bought. Why KIA would refuse to pay for a replaced engine with the warranty in place is what I don't understand.

I don't get it. Who replaced the oil sensor? Looks like whoever did it dropped something into one of the cylinders.

Why were the fuel injectors ever touched? and by whom? Who and how did they discover that they were "stuck"?
Was the oil pressure sensor replaced under warranty by the dealer?
How many KMs or miles after the oil pressure sensor was replaced, did the "engine blown" trouble code occur.

What OBDII code(s) is(are) currently present - for this "engine blown" condition.
How many shops have their hands in this blown engine?
What are the current symptoms? no start? audible rattle? engine knock? connecting rod through the block?
How much did you pay for "diagnostics" over these 5 months? and what were they diagnosing? did they conclude anything?

This is making less sense with each post

Bottom line, if you bought an aftermarket extended warranty you got scammed because those are scams.
Why you ask?
Your situation is why. They will have a loophole for ANY actual issue that occurs, anything. Even though you haven't explained the reason for denial or explained what is actually happening I still know they ain't paying dude.
(btw, punctuation is a thing and it helps)

You know how Car Shield could afford to buy one of Taylor Swifts private jets when she downsized for environmental concerns/hypocrisy to just ONE private jet to fly in while posting about climate change?
Because they sell scam warranties to people and literally never pay a nickel for anything.

Please don't ask questions that would make it clear what is actually happening here. It's better to read a half dozen thoughts all smeared together in one run on sentence with little to no timeline or objective details.

Yeah ...
I'm thinking this particular car, from what I can tell, still runs...
might have a single faulty injector.

But it's impossible to determine with the details provided

My car is broke, how much to fix? My wife's father in-law said he thinks it might be a blown engine last I spoke to him on the phone. I replaced the ball joint but that didn't help. Someone told me rain-x windshield washer fluid was the best, should I try that next?

Incoherent

We spent about 5000 just trying to get Kia Mazda dealership to fix the car I also think that the mechanic was responsible for the blown engine I never saw the stuck injectors but it is common. Most of the money was required from Kia corporate to try in get a diagnosis so they could do the repairs and if needed a new engine. The injectors broken when repairing sensor at 61,300 was not covered and cost us 3000 alone. Car was returned and driven less than 50 miles before check engine light and p 302 code then engine basically shut down. After 5 months in Kia’s they said either a blown engine or fuel injector??? Two totally different issues had another trusted repair shop look at car after towing from shop yes engine was blown and it’s 27000 to replace at our cost Kia denied the once approved replacement

Kia denied the once approved replacement
You said above that KIA wanted the dealership "to replace engine at their cost". Sounds like KIA wanted out right then. Am I missing something here? If, as alluded by @rtv900 , the extended warranty is a scam, that's really unfortunate. I had a warranty added to our Premium when I signed the contract. Then after c. four months I explored selling and got out of the warranty. They refunded the whole amount minus the four months we had been on it. I don't suppose this is available to you? Yes, the sensor is an electronic part and on our dime from 60,000 miles on. $3,000? Yikes! If this goes nowhere, you can look for a used engine. Or get yours rebuilt. Worth asking.

yes engine was blown and it’s 27000 to replace at our cost Kia denied the once approved replacement
re-iterating again, making less sense with each post
1) why do you think the mechanic did the damage? And how would he have?
2) So they approved a new engine? And then un-approved it? How'd that go down
3) blown engine, "shut down" as you say. Seriously? No other details other than it "shut down"
4) $27,000 for a new engine in a 60,000 mile 2018. . . . .yet a 60,000 mile 2018 is only worth about $25,000 for the ENTIRE CAR.
everything checks out here

Hi we were willing to pay for a rebuild or what it took to fix her car she loved it but Kia had already sucked 5000 out us and it did nothing to fix the engine which as I understood from the second mechanic the sensor and injectors were not the problem to start with. Kia dealership put in our contract that warranty was for 10/100,000 but Kia corporate said it wasn't we sent papers showing and they basically stopped talking we were curious as why a car engine would fail at 60,000 especially a performance car just really sad it was a great car really taken care of

It's weird. Cause AI bots usually have impeccable spelling and grammar... But yet, here we are.

@Runty I'll give you $2000 for the vehicle, as is, sight unseen, right now. I will handle all of the "blown engine" codes and stuck injectors. Just tell me where to pick it up from. I can do:
  • Cash
  • Certified check
  • E-transfer
  • Venmo
  • Paypal
  • Authorization hold
  • Western Union
  • Personal cheque
  • Money order
  • Bank draft
  • Foreign currency
  • Escrow

What is wrong with the vehicle presently? It quit running it’s ok just a little upset that the car engine blew at 61300 car engines should last longer especially on a 40,000 dollar car and we had it for only two years after planning on keeping it n taking good care of it
