Just hit 200,000 miles on my ‘19 Stinger GT. Only
Issue so far was a recently replaced oil sensor. I have no mods except suspension Eibach Sway Bars/Springs, and wheels- 20” square setup. The car continues to be excellent!. Red interior and has not shown fade or wear and only a little on steering wheel. Exterior just stone chips on paint which is probably the only part that could be improved(Black). Seems to chip easy compared to my other vehicles. Hope the rest of the Stinger owners have the same luck! Goal
Is 300,000 miles…we will see

Kia's maintenance services are good. Fixing serious issues through them is checkered experience, since at least one-third of dealerships return crap reviews for customer satisfaction.

for the car to stay healthy all this time, I assume you haven't taken it to those dealership services?
Would love to get recommendations on maintenance. (140K '19 GT2 here)
I have done the usual oil changes at Kia(Tire Rotation and Balance with each change since changing to square setup). I don’t have catch cans and haven’t done any valve cleaning, but do always run premium, mainly Highway, and I drive it- don’t abuse it but I do drive it. The car uses no oil and still averages about 25/26 MPG in Sport mode daily driving. I am not saying you shouldn’t do the recommended services…I just personally haven’t and I am the original owner since new. Hope the feedback helps

Agree- I have gotten to know my mechanics personally and service writers at the dealership, and they are really great guys to deal with. I would suggest to anyone getting service for whatever reason to take the few minutes to thank your techs and service writers for their work…it goes a long way.

What size & brand of tires are you running on 20's, and how is the ride?

I run Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4s 245/35/20, and the ride is very close to stock in most scenarios…only when the road is pretty rough do you feel any difference. The wheels are Niche Misano 20x9 with 35 Offset and never have had any issues with rubbing either. Highly recommend the setup as it does greatly improve cornering feel and looks great with a mild drop

Wow what do you use it for a taxi?

A car wouldn't do 200,000 miles (320,000kms) in its life in Australia and you have done this in 4 years?

That's 50,000 miles (80,000kms) a year. That's 1000 miles a week! Really? So you would be servicing it every 6 weeks. Correct?

And you are worried paint chips? You have driven the equivalent of 30 years driving for most people.

Haha..you have a very valid point- I travel for business and do average 1,000 miles a week + and usually more when vacations are taken out. I do get it serviced every 6 weeks, which is also why I know the guys so well at the dealership. My first Kia ever coming from Lexus and I love it. Looking at a K5 GT-Line for my son when he is out of college soon. Hard to beat their style and quality for the money.

Sorry everyone I average about 26mpg in sport mode.(RWD) Didn’t buy it for fuel economy that is for sure- but for the performance it’s a respectable mpg.
