Anyone running 2 sets of wheels/tires, Like a winter/summer set up. what did you do for the TPS sensors? Ive had so many problems with TPS systems in past cars trying to run 2 sets, I’m worried about what to do in the Stinger. Can 2 sets of sensors be programmed in so I can just swap them off & on? Do I need to do anything particular with my new set of wheels and new sensors?

I bought a 2nd genuine set off eBay for my aftermarket wheels in 2019, no programming is required, once fitted only had to drive a couple of miles before they started working & no problems since.

I have them on my summer and winter tires, and as said super easy, after a short drive they pair up and that's it

Yup, no issues. I bought a 2nd set of OEM TPMS and can swap and mix and match and the car doesn't care. They register after a few miles.

Although my post is not needed, as others have already confirmed, I too am confirming, there is no issues swapping sets, or even mixing and matching.

The TPMS system is completely automatic and doesn't need any activation of programing. Just install and go

During normal operations, it typically takes my sensors less than 1 km to turn on and report each wheel pressure.

After changing all, or 1, wheel, it does take much longer on the first drive cycle (maybe 15 kms) to register the newly swapped wheel or wheels.
5 seasonal swaps for me so far, and each time, it just works, the way it should be.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
WOW thanks everyone, that sounds too good to be true! I just ordered my set of oem sensors. Should have my new wheels in a couple weeks. Hope it all goes smooth. Sounds like its a good system and not much to it.

It even works with non OEM units too, no programming needed.

I had an aftermarket TPMS sensor die last year; the entire system goes into hibernation (flat-lines) when one sensor stops sending (just so you know). I had it replaced, and c. eight miles later the entire system came back on line.
