Ok Thanks that makes since,I have a small pic set that should work pretty good was the clip reusable afterwards if you're careful?Yeah, that took me a bit to figure out. The clip holding the round wire spring down can be pried up a bit to let the wire spring escape. It's kind hard to explain in words. Best thing to try is to take a small hook tool to pull the clip up and around. You will feel which way it has "give", so you can work the wire spring out of it. I used my mini-pick set to do this. It's actually simpler than it looks.
Mine kept its original shape and tension, so I would say it is very reusable, if I ever put the stock intake back in.Ok Thanks that makes since,I have a small pic set that should work pretty good was the clip reusable afterwards if you're careful?
Okay thanks again. Doing 30,000 mile service tomorrow plan on installing afterwardsMine kept its original shape and tension, so I would say it is very reusable, if I ever put the stock intake back in.
Again, the key is not to pull too hard. Like I said, I didn't have to, and the wire spring escaped fairly easily.
Have you taken your car to the dealer for service afterwards? any comments on the cold air intake being installedMine kept its original shape and tension, so I would say it is very reusable, if I ever put the stock intake back in.

Oh no. With my heavily modded enclosed/insulated Injen CAI, I have no doubt there would be some raised eyebrows.Have you taken your car to the dealer for service afterwards? any comments on the cold air intake being installed
