2.0 turbo base powered subwoofer upgrade

what is the best why to tap into the front or rear speaker wires to add a powered subwoofer? aWhere should the power wire for the on/off of the powered subwoofer tap off of?

There's power in the trunk lining, but the stereo runs off the CANBUS so be careful tapping into anything as one wrong move can blow the computer.
