1st inaugural West Australian Stinger meet Perth Motorplex

Well it went well, three of us turned up Webbers , Stinger33 and myself all in a row. Lots of interest in car. The star was Stinger33’s red beast and I do mean a beast as he has everything on it including bigger turbos. We saw one other white Stinger leaving but he must of been parked somewhere else. Looking forward to the next one!

Great place too catch up with fellow Stinger owners, and talk everything Stinger and compare experiences and cars. I would like too catch up with Stinger meets in Victoria, does anyone know where i find out where the Victorian Stinger Chapter are meeting next, is it on Facebook ? Thanx for the photos @AV8R , im sure it was an awesome experience.

I was very surprised as to how much interest the car attracted like;
Is that a Kia?
I’ve been wanting to get a close look at one
The price is great for what you get.

A lot of Holden people were interested asking about the police replacement for commodore. Big crowds around car ( see below).
All round a very busy day.

Absolutely no negative responses! Very positive lots wanted to test drive one, mind you I did do the big sell lol. Stinger33 was inundated with questions over his mods. He is getting 400+ hp and does 1/4 mile 12.6 secs. His car was awesome.

Not quite stock, his car is lowered and has bimodal exhaust plus paint protection film, bigger turbos and intercooler, flashing led reflectors at back and some great decals for his company Mac Track on the side and on his oval badges.

3 plus one other who parked somewhere else and saw him leaving late. Never got to talk to them.

Yes, given the member numbers on this forum from Perth I would have thought you would have achieved a larger turnout, maybe your next meet will increase the numbers. We are having our 3rd get together here in NSW so I’m hoping for a good turnout as well.

It was a cracking day, helped by the fact we had cloudless, 20+ sunny weather. Plenty of Aussie legends to see and the response to the stingers was amazing considering this was more of a show targeting vintage and classics. General. I’ve of the show was very friendly and
Worth checking out. Having @Stinger33 there with his amazing mods raised the bar for sure. Kids were fine but keeping hands off all the shiny cars was a challenge.
