Newb here! I have a 2023 GT2 AWD. I am going to get some new wheels today. I want to use my stock tires to save a little $ on the front side.
Thinking of running 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +35. Anyone else run this setup? Picks of figments please!

Fronts: going from 8" to 8.5" and +34 to +35 offset means adding 1/4" (6mm) to the inside & outside edges, then shifting inward 1mm, ie your wheel will be 5mm further out than stock. People have run spacers up to 20mm which puts you pretty flush, so that will fit fine (and you might benefit from a 10mm spacer).

Rears: going from 8.5" to 9.5" and +46.5 to +35 offset means adding 1/2" (12.5mm) to the inside & outside edges, then shifting outward 11.5mm, ie your wheel will be 24mm or just under 1" further out than stock. That's a little more aggressive than the 20mm spacers which you should be able to find pictures of, but should be ok. If it makes the fronts look too sunken in, you can grab some 10-15mm spacers.

As for stock tires, assuming 225/40 and 255/35, both should be fine. 225/40s are recommended for 7.5-9" wheels, and 255/35s recommended for 8.5-10" (ie the stock tire is at the wide end, or the wheel at the narrow end, of what's recommended).

If you go 35 offset, you'll be a teensy bit further out than the pic shows. I have the OE Michelins on the same width wheels you are looking at, and my offsets are 40 in front 39 in back.

I'm on 245/35Z 20x9 in the front and 285/30Z 20x9 in the rear, both with a +34 offset. May be these pictures can help with visualizing a +35 offset
