In the UK the stinger I'm getting the GT line s stinger.

This comes with the 18" wheels, no brembo brakes. I was looking at changing the brakes to brembo ones. Would anyone know if this is possible and what the requirements would be?

I'm also looking at changing the wheels to show the brakes off a bit better if I do change them.

Brembo brakes are available aftermarket , but they are are expensive !! Some quick and easy ways of imitating the look use red paint or powder coating , both are DIY ..............google Brembo for a local supplier though , then google "painting brake calipers " good luck

Give it some time, am sure brake kits from AP, Stoptech, Performance Friction or Alcon will come onto the market for the Stinger.

An alternative to a brake kit would be just changing pads and maybe rotors, and upgrading to stainless steel brake lines if they are not already SS.

Just have to wait for more options to come available.

It is ss, it just looks a bit naff that's all. I wasn't going to do it straight away, so waiting is no problem.

I called kia dealership and asked about this but your stinger has different size of rotors and they couldn't confirm brembo rotors and calipers would fit on your car, most likely they wouldn't.

I keep checking websites for information, but very little so far.

There is also difference in brakes if car is rwd or awd and it will take some time before somebody will attempt to install brembo brakes on stinger that came from factory without them and then we will see.
