1/4 Mile: Regal GS vs Stinger GT: +Showdown

Predictable results.

I wonder how the tuning community is doing with the Regal.
 
I saw this on YouTube yesterday. The Stinger was impressive but if you can't turn off the stop/start on the Buick, I would never consider it. Would not make the short list.

Biggest trouble with tuning the Buick is because it's FWD which creates torque steer issues and questions the durability of the FWD transmission setup. Very few FWD vehicles go over 300HP from the factory due to technical issues.
 
In AU it’s sold as the new ZB Commodore, top end model is AWD non turbo & not selling vey well, so I doubt too many tuners will bother with it.

Honda did a great job on the new Civic Type R, by almost eliminating torque steer. That’s got 306 HP with 295 lb-ft of torque from a four cylinder engine.
