Got rained out a few weeks back but finally got the Stinger on the 1/4 mile. Altitude of Bandimere Speedway in Denver is 5814 ft. DA ranged from 8600 to 8200 throughout the runs as the temperature dropped a bit from 85 to about 70. I weighed the car on the scale at the track; 4,205 lbs. 1/8-1/4 tank of gas. Spare tire removed. Used launch control.

Best run: 13.75 @ 102.68; 2.18 60'

The slip in the picture is against my friends 2017 SRT8 that I mentioned in another thread. SRT8 is stock, using launch control.

Car is AWD GT2 with DIY intake mod.

Correct the times for altitude and report back.

That poor SRT is getting murdered by that altitude. :/

4500lbs with full tank, spare in the trunk, and driver. She's a porker ain't she?

We've come a long way. 20 years ago a Ford F150 weighed under 4000lbs. Now with all of our fancy tech and safety features we're all driving Sherman Tanks.

I bet a new Smart car would wreck a 1980s pick-up truck.

According to the Dragtimes.com calculator for 1/4 mile correction for turbocharged engines, my time would be 13.127 @ 107.342 MPH

Looks what happens when the density attitude is hovering in the low 7,000s at the same track Bandimere speedway.

I got the AWD GT stock car to 13.44@104.65, 13.52@103.84 (all with launch control). Also had a dud run with the launch control messed up due to engine start stop accidenly left on and cut the engine off at the light  13.9@101.97 man times suck with out launch control ! 2.24 60 foot without it.

Did you try manually shifting?
