i have a Stinger GT2 AWD Limited Edition
I cannot get my 0-60 time under 5.5 seconds and usually closer to 5.7
Does anyone else have this experience?
Should be hitting 4.7, right?
It is stock, I haven’t done any upgrades.

In general, it should be pretty easy to hit the factory numbers. But there are other variables that can increase 0-60 numbers.
I'm not going to go over every single one of them but here are a couple.
1) using regular 87 octane
2) high altitudes i.e. Denver vs. Seattle
3) not using launch control
4) wet conditions
5) AS tires

There are more for sure, but my point is you're not giving us the conditions when you attempted your 0-60.

Premium Fuel
Indiana not high altitudes
Didn’t use launch control but I didn’t lose traction.
Not wet conditions
Factory Tires

Suggest trying again with launch control...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
And if you're on 18" wheels and tires, those tires are all-seasons. Nowhere near as grippy as the 19" summer rubber from the factory...

How many miles are on your car? Has it been broke in properly? Did u check the air pressure?

Just over 1200 miles.
I didn’t do anything special to break it in.
I did try the launch control today and I think that is the key although I wasn’t able to get a good time as I was by myself.

What does fine mean? Does it match the pressure on your door sticker or is it overinflated from the dealership? My stinger only has 200 miles on it and I will get oil change at 500, 1000 and 1500 miles before I attemp a launch or hammer on it just to be safe. 1200 is prob safe but I’m going to be extra cautious with my stinger.

I’ve been hitting pretty consistent 4.4 or 4.5s without launch control. So to not be hitting even under 5 is concerning.

Walter you might be doing better than you realize.

Record your timed run and then upload it to your computer. You can use video editing software to determine your exact time.

I will try that, thank you.

Carrying a passenger could slow you by several tenths of a second, also. How are you timing your runs?

GT RWD, managed it I. 4.76 seconds, launch control, automatic.

Timed my run with the stop watch on my iPhone. Not the best I know but I thought I would be closer than 1.3 seconds slow.

to do it properly you need a tuner plugged in to the ob2 port...anything else is a waste.
