Just bought a 2019 GT1. Love the car and the way it drives. However concerns about some clicking/ticking noise from the drivers sides when going over bumps. I thought it was the drivers side ‘oh shit’ handle, but I don’t think that is it. I read somewhere somebody else mentioning this. Any idea what is the common cause here? Thank you all greatly and glad to be a part of the community!

It’s the Korean time bomb they left in the doors randomly, you got the lucky prize now just drive very slowly so not to arm it. Lol

Seriously though, some where there is a thread on this if you do a search.

It could be the door seals if the door has dropped a bit. Try a little smear of Vaseline on rubber and if it stops you know that’s the problem.

NEVER put Vaseline on door seals , petroleum jelly deteriorates rubber , use Shinetsu grease !

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Gummi Pflege or a Silicone spray lubricant works on rubber seals too, but most have had better luck reducing this noise with Shin-Etsu as noted. Either stop by a Honda dealer, or just buy online.
