Good Evening! I am picking up my 2022 GT1 on Monday and was wondering what would you guys recommend for engine mods? I already have exterior parts ordered, but I haven’t done too much research when it comes to motor mods.

As of right now I was going to start off with a catch can, intakes, and maybe a JB4?? The car will be my daily driver so I didn’t want anything too crazy. What brand of intakes, or catch cans would you guys recommend? Or even any other mods you think?

Thanks!

I think the BMS catch can is the best option, because it is no maintenance and they did research during its development . Intake is pretty subjective. I personally have Ingens on back order right now cause they have pretty good dyno results, sound great, and look good in the engine bay. If i didn't go Injen I probably would take BMS as a good second options, super easy to install and are one of the most affordable.

You can do a carbon fiber engine cover, new dipstick, new strut braces, stuff like that for some other cosmetic mods. If you are looking at other mods that aren't cosmetic you could look into BOVs, or FMICs, possibly an ethanol sensor kit if you want to go that route. If you do go the JB4 route, you will need new spark plugs too FYI. :)
