Really my only problem with the blue is it looks the exact same as my Optima. I was really bummed when they pulled Yellow away from us, but I like my blue car, and I know I'd like this blue car. I just wish they'd tell us when we might ever possibly get sunset yellow because if they start offering it on 2019 models next September I'm gonna have a lot of regret.

The blue (Micro Blue?) looked fabolous in the sun. The sunset yellow is offered in Europe as the "standard" color, any other will cost between 600 and 800 Euros extra.
I would probably wait for a "Chroma Yellow", with the effects of the Micro Blue, just in yellow. I believe KIA had one painted up for the Seoul Car Show, yellow with orangy effects.
It may have been the lighting but I don't think so. IMO the yellow that is currently being offered looks too much like "taxi".

Blue is a tricky color - can be elegant and dazzling or, like two Optimas I passed on the way home tonight, as cheap-looking as a child's plastic toy. I'm interested, but wouldn't pre-order one.

I'd consider the Deep Chroma Blue to be elegant, more black than blue, the Micro Blue on the other hand looks dazzling IMO. Have another look at the picture I posted of the Micro Blue GT. That is not a cheap looking car!
Cars & colors need or should be matched. The right color makes a great looking car even better.

I really like the Deep Chroma Blue. I'm not sure about the Micro Blue, I would have to see it in person. Probably will end up going with the Grey.

The only thing is in the US we still do not know what color combos we can get. It’s driving me crazzzzyyyyy.

I definitely agree with your final statement. To me, blue looks a whole lot different in sun, at night and in twilight and without seeing it under various conditions, I'm not sure I'd be confident of what I'm getting. I do think the Micro Blue looks good in photos.

You are right. The two pictures below show the SAME car. The first picture I took 10 days ago at KIA HO. The second picture was taken by the dealer tonight in the showroom. It's now plated, but the same... Enjoy.

Yep we do. Just thought I'd comment on it though. I can't pick the color I like though because Kia isn't offering it in the US. I'll have to settle for something else.

Here are the colors the Canadians are getting, pay attention to the re-naming from the Korean. I do not think, that the US market will get anything different during this first round.

Knock yourselves out, but it won't change a thing, certainly not the minds of the marketing geniuses in Seoul... Enjoy!

It would also appear, that there is no 2.0 in the offering this time in Canada. The models available here seems to be only the GT & GT Limited.

I have a pre-order in for a GT Limited in Thunder Grey with red interior, price TBD.
