Congrats on the stinger and even bigger congrats on the ability to drive! You will love the freedom and the stinger is so much fun.

The stinger GT is a hell of a car to learn on! My first car had 64hp and would actually slow down going up hills even with the pedal to the floor. It did have an unintended safety feature that kept me under 60mph cause it would shake violently if I went any faster.

I know the stinger is a hell of ride, and not so many people can start the driving experience with such a powerful car. But to be honest on the other hand, so many people had the ability and freedom to drive car in the first place never the less what kind of car.

So in other words, life is giving me back what it owed me years back.. am I right?

Actually Kia and Hyundai are destroying Toyota, Mazda, Nissan and ford. Genesis on the other hand are ripping the market share of Lexus, BMW and other luxury brands.

Just to throw some facts in there, KIA of Saudi Arabia have won the "Platinum Dealer" (because of their high sales) for seventh consecutive years, 2018 being the seventh.

Hyundai of Saudi's central region have been awarded the best dealer for 4 years, also due to the high sales.

So you can imagine 2 Korean dealers in the same country are winning the worlds best dealers.

But from what I've noticed, the Kia Stinger is not selling that great. I think only 30-50cars sold last year. Our dealer are not trying to push any sales for the Stinger, thus Huda and I faced some poor customers service and lack of stock to choose from.

Knew that the Middle East region was a strong market for Hyundai and Kia and that Genesis didn't do too badly w/ their limited lineup (pretty sure Genesis would fare even better when they get their crossovers), but it's nice to get a report from a local.

Suspect that the upcoming 3-row Telluride and Palisade crossovers will do well in the region.

As for the Stinger, may have something to do w/ limited supply - as numerous markets are dealing w/ that, as well as buyers still waiting for their orders (like in Australia) and the 2.0T not yet available in Canada.

Also, didn't the Stinger launch in the Middle East somewhat later in the year in 2017?

Well, whatever the case may be, let's hope the Stinger starts selling better in the ME - esp. as petrol prices shouldn't be as much of an issue when it comes to the TTV6.

Well to be honest, they're doing much much better than the Stinger. But not so well compared to the G80 3.8 V6 (not the sport 3.3). I assume because the G80 is a lot cheaper, since they only introduced 3.3 G70 only. without the 2.0 engine.

Anyways, it's a bit early to judge the car's fair in the market since it has been introduced a little over 2months ago.

And if your referring to it's price:
The fully loaded G70 3.3 V6: $47,700 without our new 5% vat. (But if your a good negotiator you can let them abide the 5% vat for you) like what I did with my Stinger

I like the feeling but, getting some good practice in, isn’t really a bad idea. The Stinger would be your first drive in YOUR car. That’s something special all on its own.
