Kia Stinger Rear Spoiler Discussion

Looks good! Maybe that was my problem. I went to autozone and got a roll of 3m tape and I should have use what was provided. The tape that came with the spoiler was thinner making it more flushed.

I got the 3M tape from auto zone too. I was sure to hold the tape edge about a 1/16” in from the edge of the spoiler and it came out perfect.

Here is another look at the type G in gloss black on silky silver. Used extra 3M mounting tape. Also blacked out the Stinger logo, side reflectors and black tinted tail lights. Would have done the rear reflectors also.....still will....but the vinyl sent to me by Premium Auto Styling wasn’t even close to being the right size.

What did you use to black out the Stinger lettering on the rear?

Looks good! I'm digging the blackout tail lights! What kind of spray did you use?

Thanks. Boils down to personal taste. Silver and black seem to go together. Although I am NOT a Raiders fan. Lol

It's funny, I'm a Michigan college sports fan and I bought a car (someone had to point out), that had OHIO ST colors (Silver and Red). I'm a Philly Eagles fan and now I'm gonna do the Raiders thing (Silver and Black outside) with adding the gloss spoiler. This is no good...no good!!

Hey I’m from Ohio! Lol

looks great ! now just nick the rear reflectors and will be perfect ( gloss black vinyl ) !! IMHO

Sorry I do not. Let's just say I use the the tape all around the spoiler top, side, and bottom. If I had to do it again I would just do top and side.
NOOOOO!! its really important to put tape around the entire inside , not only for adhesion but to keep moisture out , which over time will cause lots of problems for you .............:thumbup:

Correct! Mine is “hermetically” sealed with tape all around x two. Lol. That thing is never coming off. Waiting on my second source of black vinyl wrap for the reflectors since Premium Auto Styling went something that was about 2” too short.

I have the Air Design Spoiler from Stinger Haus and Love it

I just installed mine yesterday as well. Tape goes fully around the outside edge of the spoiler. Tork has a youtube on installing the G spoiler . S looks a bit easier as it wraps around the car more . No question on where the S should sit on the car. Tork used a wider 3m tape but with the design of the S spoiler you need to use the thinner 3M tape provided. I was surprised how easy it was .
Thanks for the advice.

Had an idea on the reflectors but wondering if it would look good. Taking the small Stinger emblem and using it as a template to exacto knife the word out of the vinyl on the reflector. Thoughts?
