I have been waiting to obtain a red GT2 AWD, with red interior, but there are next to none available. My dealer ordered it for me and just received it in. The following represents the lease deal and I am providing their latest lease info from Kia Financial, and wanted to ask anyone on the forum if they know of anything different or if this deal is solid:

GT2 AWD loaded with every available build option including:
2018 Stinger GT2 $51,400*
HiChroma Red with Red Nappa Leather
All season 19 (not 18") wheels
Bumper Applique $75
Cargo Mat $125
Cargo Net $50
Cargo Tray $95
Cargo Tray Seat back $125
Remote Start Push $495
Puddle Lights $240
Door Sill Applique $110
Wheel Locks 19" $55
Destination $900

Plus (included at no charge)
All Season Floor mats
Dual, thin black pin stripes on sides
Mud Flaps

Total
$53,870

Less
May 36 month lease incentive of $6,500 (this is down from $7,000 in April)
Money Factor of .00226 (this is up from .0021 in April and better than April)

Adjusted Total Cost applied to the Money Factor:
$43,598
Residual value of 53% $28,047
Zero money down other pan first payment.

Monthly lease fee including PA taxes: $647.33

Dealer giving me $13,500 cash for my 2011 Optima SXL (or said differently, 21 payments of the 36 month lease, but the money is in my possession making interest.

QUESTIONS:

Is this a strong lease deal?
Are the Money Factor and the May incentive accurate?
Does anyone know of a better option to drive this car, with the option to buy later?

Thank you.
Tom

The money factor going up is not a good thing. That just means the interest rate is higher. You want the residual to go up. Not an awful lease though.

$13,500 for 2011 SXL? WOW! I could barely get $6500 for my clean (and loaded) 2012 Hybrid -- but it did have almost 100K on it.

I used to have a 2012 Optima SX. They didn't make the SXL until 2013. So I assume you had a 2013+ and not a 2011, unless it was an SX non L.

Also assuming that your tax rate is 6% I dont think the are giving you much of a discount on the car. I can get closer to 610 a month if you are willing to take a Red with black interior car and drive to NY!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The incentives and MF seem to match what I saw on the edmunds forum.

You can get 19" all season? That I did not know. Is that limited to 130mph? Which PA Dealer? I am in the market, and will be dealing with Allentown Kia most likely. Sorry for all the questions lol!

I went to Allentown Kia last month and all their stingers had a $4,000 markup. They were pretty shady and were telling me they waved the markup when in reality they used the lease cash to "wave" the markup. I ended up leasing from Outten Kia in Hamburg, their prices are a little under MSRP.

Correct...2013 SXL. Thanks.

Great to know, thanks! That is not too far for me either. I was actually even thinking about driving down as far as Virginia to get a 19" summer tire model. Can't find any around here!

Yes...the new MF raises the interest almost 40 basis points.

PA lease is 9%...I wish it was 6%. Thanks anyway...been waiting for the red interior for months. Is this a bad deal?

Yes. 19" all season. They called this the "unlocked" version. when I inquired, they said that technically, the AWD GT2 with 18" is limited to or maxed 137 MPH due to recommended capabilities (non- 19"). But, the 19" has no such limitation, whether physical or recommended, to 137.

I am in Allentown area coincidentally. Have not visited them. I went to Brown Daub. FYI..."That Family Guy" Garry Lee, walked out of the dealership last week to do independent consulting. He no longer operates the dealership from what they told me.

Gateway Group. If you want, I can introduce you to one of the owners.

Did they swap the tires themselves or did Kia do it?

May take ya up on that lol, but I will be shopping seriously within 30-45 days. Gateway Quakertown is the closest dealer to me, and where I currently service my Forte. I was just thinking Allentown would have better pricing due to their volume. Hope to see your stinger around! Have yet to see one in the wild. :)

CORRECTION: Was shipped with 19" and summer tires.

I'm confused, so it was shipped with 19" wheels and 19" summer tires or shipped with 18" wheels with AS tires as well as 19" wheels with 19" summer tires?

Never mind. I re-read it and think I get what you're saying.
