ExactlyNo it is designed for stock cars.
Sir, what is the recommendation of fuel type and I am assuming 93 octane or higher is the recommendation. We saw the first issue of a RaceChip customer (91 octane in mapping 5). In % compared to our customer base this is a very low number. However, we want our customers to be completely safe, so we are now re-evaluating the recommendation whether we suggest re-gapping spark plugs: Spark Plug Advice
This does not change the fact, that our tuning is developed for stock cars. The Kia Stinger in stock condition just has sometimes issues when running on bad fuel quality. So, please either use high-quality fuel or a low RaceChip mapping or re-gap your spark plugs.
In general, 93 is always better than 91
Moreover, re-gapping your spark plugs or replacing them by performance spark plugs is beneficial.
If you don't have access to 93 octane, please re-gap your spark plugs or get performance spark plugs or alternatively stay in the low mappings and do not use the settings 6 and 7.
Best? Yes.I thought even running 93 octane, it is best to regap also. ???
What are the possible drawbacks to not re gapping the spark plugs?Best? Yes.
Required? No.

You need to re-gap the plugs.
Every tune/chip (including two individuals using RaceChip) has had reports if issues when running stock plugs.
The plugs can crack/break and/or the coils can be damaged.
It isn't a matter of "if" but "when".
A follow up to your great answer...so it it possible and preferred to re gap oem plugs or get new plugs?
And there seems to be a difference of opinion about new plugs...a cooler plug like HKS M4iL
or a stock heat range 7 plug?
Thanks again
I have a very important question about this product! does it currently have the ability to REMOVE the speed limiter of the stinger if not will it be coming in the future? In general, 93 is always better than 91

No and No. It doesn't change the ECU.I have a very important question about this product! does it currently have the ability to REMOVE the speed limiter of the stinger if not will it be coming in the future?
I reached out to racechip last week and they said that there is no need to regap the plugs. I’m running 93 here and will be installing the black today- stay tuned
