No clue where to post this but I've had this sound in my car that is easily reproducable and gets louder with speed so I figured maybe wheels/brakes??
The sound is like a vibration/humming but you don't feel the vibration. You can only hear something, kinda like sticking your finger in a fan and as the fan spins faster the vibration gets louder.
A couple of things to note, it will never happen close to a cold start. If I start the car and theoretically go 60 within a few minutes, there will be no vibration or sound. This is something that only starts happening after you've been driving for a little. Secondly, it will only happen when off the throttle. You can step on it and hit 120 and there will be no sound, but as soon as you let off the gas it will begin the vibration until you either slow down or let on the throttle again.
Lastly the sound is kinda hard to tell where it is coming from exactly. From the driver seat it sounded like my front left wheel, my passenger said he couldn't tell it just sounded like the front of the car. When I lower my window you can't hear it at all, as the wind would drown it out instantly, even at lower speeds (40/50mph) the sound just dissapears when you roll the window down. Seems like it can only be heard from the cabin.
This sound does not do anything else, it doesn't change the ride quality, steering, breaking, etc...Its just a sound from what I know.
I've also checked my logs on my jb4 and those are all clean as well.
That is the most amount of info I can think of at this point.
