Backing out piston question

I need to change out my pads and will be doing Rotors at the same time. When backing out the pistons in the caliper do I need to lossen the reservoir cap?
 
Yes and make sure it doesn't overflow I use a c clamp and the old pad to resease the pistons.
If the reservoir gets too full something like a turkey baster is good for removing excess brake fluid

Thanks. How long did it take you to change? Any issues? Watched all the videos I can find and figure this is an easy change.

It's pretty streigh forward just take your time nothing overly complicated
