Just wondering, now I'm not talking about exhaust noise, I'm talking strictly turbo spool. I remember changing out the downpipe on my genesis coupe and it make a huge difference in the turbo spooling sound, was much louder.

I already have an intake so I can hear the turbo spool at slower speeds. I was wondering if replacing the secondary downpipes (secondary cat delete) made the spooling more audible? Or is that only when changing the main downpipe?

I didn’t notice much of a change. Ran the cat back for a few years before adding secondaries. Just raspier. Might go back to just cat back.
