Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Which is better? The lozic tcu or lap3?
This is only from my research and not personal experience. From what I gathered if you are looking to be faster (a tenth ish) then it seems Lap3 would be the way to go- also some say the downshifting is a touch smoother.. Lozic is cheaper and allows more customization than Lap3. Both allow you to launch on boost if desired. I know there is a few on this forum that have used both so hopefully they comment and can give you so more hands on experiences.

Just put my ecu 1.3 bar and hks plugs.

First impressions:

My god. Surreal. Biggest surprise was how smooth the engine felt. Well atleast for me, some subtle jerks and quirks went away.

Its snowing here so couldn't push it fully. Imo 15-20% throttle felt like map 2 jb4 full throttle. Effortlessly builds boosts and you go flying.

Lozic is king.

What settings did you end up choosing

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
So eco/comfort is 1.2 and sport is 1.3.

Comfort feels like map 2 jb4.
I must have an old order form then. Option D shows me that Eco and Comfort is 1.2- and Sport is set. Interesting

Sorry, Its 1.2 for both eco and comfort and 1.3 for sport. No changes in order form

I’m thinking of placing an order soon. How long did shipping take for you? And did you get hit with any import and duties?

What does the awd tune control exactly?
Torque transfer to your wheels. For straight line racing (standing 1/4 mile), you're not going to see much. Maybe 0.1 to 0.2 secs faster on your E/T. But if you are doing road racing where entering and exiting a corner matter, you should see faster lap times. It would be easier to measure on that type of course or race.

Tenths add up to seconds. Seconds add up to gappage.

Okay, Ive gotten it within 5 business days. Lozic signed a contract with UPS with faster shipping. Although I was hit with a $50 custom fee lol.

Alright.. those of you with the Lozic TCU but without the ECU- What is the best way to build boost off the line? I was probably too scared to give it too much throttle. (Just slowly eased pedal to 2-2.3k pedal never above 40% travel) I was not able to build anymore than 1.8psi..I tried traction and stability control off and with it on and it didn’t seem to make a difference. With traction control on I was able to brake boost and floor it and it would hold at 2k rpm with 1-1.8psi.(also thought it would hold more similar to factory LC but 2k is lower) I didn’t dare try this with traction and stability off, I was scared it would spike. But easing into throttle yielded me no better results. I’m sure I just need to practice and be patient but assumed I would reach out anyway.

Side note- only drove it 5 miles and nothing but positive things to say during the drive. Well give more in depth review after my driving this week.

The car isn't going to allow more boost than it can handle, you should be able to floor it brake boosting in sport with traction and stability off and that should be the factory launch control. the faster option is the brake snip which overrides the rev limiter. I'll defer to other people on that though, I don't care enough about launches to do that mod, Drag racing isn't really my cup of tea.

To my knowledge, brake snip isn't needed if the tcu is tuned.
