Can someone help me out? I have a 2022 Stinger GT2 and for some reason my remote doesn't open the windows. I figured I might as well try to find out why it doesn't open since it is a feature that the remote is supposed to do. Any info?

If only this were possible...

Hi,

I tried rolling down windows by holding "Unlock doors" button in my key fob for 3 ~ 4 seconds, and indeed all windows rolled down :)

Holding "Lock door" button will roll up the windows.

Which is neat...

I checked the US Spec user's manuals, and I found out that:

MY2020: no mention for (Remote Windows Opening System).
MY2022: in page 4-41, you can only move down all windows by pressing "Unlock" button "if equipped".

have this function on our 21 year old bmw .. the only thing it's done is make us anxious if we accidently opened a window by accidently getting the unlock button pressed while in our pocket... it's happened a few times,, walked out and and the windows were all open a little...

it would definitely be less likely with the kia key fob though.. the buttons were easily pressed on the bmw fob since it was on the flat side that would press into your leg or pocket when sitting.

Wonder if this works in the gtline too?

I was just reading about the remote window roll-down feature in my Stinger Owner's manual 2 days ago. Hold the "unlock" button for more than 3 seconds. I had passed over the feature previously. I'm still reading through catching little things like this.
I just had my windows tinted this week. Trying not to roll the windows down for a few days. Otherwise, I would test it out. Not sure which models have this feature?

:laugh:i wonder if it works if one of your windows is incapable of going down?

It is?

Source?
My 2022 Stinger GT2 Manual says the windows open with remote key fob. I'll just ask the dealer, everyone with any type of decent car says that their car windows open. But at the end of the day, Kia itself says it's supposed to open windows remote with the Fob

My GT2 does not do this. Can anyone from a dealer or Kia chime in here? What is required to enable this feature?

I have still yet to see where it is written that such a feature even exist, and which countries get this feature.

Yeah, you should probably part it out.

As is written above, are you sure it doesnt say "if equipped"?

Right in the online 2022 manual, page 4-41 "if equipped".

It says if equipped, all I gotta do is figure how or if it can be equipped on it. At least the 2022 GT2 model

U are right, if equipped smh. Pretty f*cking dumb if u ask me smh. Why not have it equipped? Or give that option to us? This is typical Kia stupidity

It sucks. I have had other, less expensive cars that have this option. Good luck activating it, maybe in engineering mode.
