Has anyone ran this mod and had any issues down the road?

Yeah I have seen some people do this, there are a few post about it. I dont think you will have any issues, just turning your recirc valve into a BOV. Recirc valve is better unless you are running a lot more boost then you need to blow some of that pressure to atmosphere. I recommend leaving it how it is.
