So Ive been driving my stinger pretty aggressively its just to much fun and its hard to resist... is hard accelerations bad for it or is it built to withstand that beating?
and also I want to install a jb4 is there any risk involved with using a jb4 or is it pretty much safe? thanks.

Glad you are enjoying your car the way it should be! JB4 has a lot of safety features to protect the car. If it senses an unsafe environment it goes to map 0 (shuts off). Also, Terry is relentless with his customer service and tuning. He really does have a passion. You will not find a more engaged vendor for help.

JB4 I can't comment on due to lack of first hand experience. But as for hard driving while stock? No, you won't hurt anything at all (except for maybe wear items like brakes, tires and gas mileage). Modern cars are engineered to last a long time even under the full rev range.

The only thing you may want to consider is following the manual's "hard use" maintenance schedule meant for police cars and taxis.

Driving hard will cause far more wear and tear to the engine and drivetrain. There's a massive difference upshfting at 4000rpm as opposed 2000rpm.

Due to the large dose of low end power, my Stinger does not exceed 1500rpm when accelerating.

With the Kia warranty and even beyond, I just wouldn't be worried about wear and tear to engine / drivetrain. I suppose I have faith in the engineers that the engine design and manufacturing tolerances can handle even aggressive daily driving. Is this a dedicated track car? No, of course not. But aggressive daily driving should easily be within the limits of our machine. Now, JB4 like I mentioned (and really not trying to ruffle feathers here, to each their own), will potentially push the power past what the systems are able to handle long term.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just enjoy! Upgrade your Intercooler to prevent heatsoak.

That basically the only major thing I have left before I’m FBO. How do you like your UP FMIC? That’s one I was looking at. Do you have the add on 3” cold side pipe?

I didn’t get the pipe. So far so good. Direct bolt on. Build quality is awesome.

You really don't exceed 1500 rpm in your car? You may be doing damage due to LSPI conditions by doing that continually...

That's boring. What's the point of having all that rev range if you don't use it? I mean I don't use half of mine all the time but when I do I'm usually smiling. Can't say the same thing for our cvt hybrid camry. I don't wanna use any of that cars rev range. As for wear and tear: is the stinger a collectible show car? no, it's not. I have driven a year with over 3 quarts of transmission fluid missing and a leaking rear diff. car drove fine, but it did like it better when I put more fluid in it lol.

During normal non spirited driving I do not exceed 1500rpm.

LSPI occurs mostly during low speed high load conditions. i.e flooring it from low speed.

I tend to keep my vehicles for as long as they last. An agressively driven vehicle has a lot more wear and tear than a sedatly driven one.

Reving to 4000rpm from stop is very fast in the Stinger 3.3tt. Firstly road rules and especially speed limits are heavily enforced here.

Secondly, as mentioned, hard acceleration is hard on the engine and even more so on drivetrain.

My 2 speeding tickets in the stinger show how much I care about speed limits I guess. As for the wear, you could drive normally and you could still have a problem. Like that guy who was stock and had his transmission come apart on him during a normal turn.

It is a performance vehicle.

Now sure if youre careless about doing that in every stop and go situation as a DD then sure.. but i doubt anyone does it.

I've had my car since Nov 2017 (60k miles now), taken it to the 1/4 strip multiple times, GP track a couple of times and generally drive it hard daily. Have been at FBO with JB4/Meth for almost 3yrs, I daily with Map 2 and when racing Map 4 or 5. No mechanical problems so far, but I appreciate that a modded car will need more maintenance so I do them in shorter intervals, I change oil/filter every 3k miles, plugs every 12k, transmission and diff oil every 25k.

Really? 1500rpm? You're probably getting passed by every hypermile-ing Prius on the road.
And city buses, 18 wheelers, garbage trucks, kids on skateboards, moms pushing strollers... :D
