Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

______________________________
Quite a first post! Welcome.

The tork team are some scandalous horrible human beings! Ha! Shocking how shameless they are.
I just saw that Tork was offering $99 tcu tunes on their Instagram and I was mind blown how that was possible from a business standpoint on their end…now I know jeeze.

In the manual, I put the sport first and set it so that the shifting was not possible.
I need to add the TCU option item to the order form.
Talk to me if you're uncomfortable
Probably good to update the order form....and explain what the different options mean.

What a f*cking dirt bag I wouldn’t use anything from Tork even if it was free
the part 'I will deny that I ever sent it' ROFL
has nobody learned from Jussie Smollett? don't commit crimes with checks.... don't put anything in writing if you don't want it to bite you in the ass later on

Gents my car deal got done. I have the LOZIC TCU Pressure 2 -8% for sale. PM if your interested.

Watch out for that Understeer…jokes those rs3s are nice little missiles.

ECU 1.5 bar now installed. Did about a 10 mile drive both street and highway. I didn’t push it too hard because I want to get a JB4 to log, but did a spirited run on the highway and it definitely pulls hard. But so far what I enjoyed was the drive ability. I didn’t have any weird issues or noises while driving around. Drove like stock pretty much. I drive a decent bit for work so we will see this week how it drives. And now I need a TCU tune, JB4 for logs, and a dragy. List never ends. Oh and now I think I need an exhaust. Couldn’t hear my popcorn or bubbles or whatever it’s called with my stock exhaust.

Yep. Never ends. Always more mods

Drove it more yesterday. I really like the overall shifting, etc. But, discussing with Lozic if it's possible to have some kind of manual mode where the ECU/TCU keep the current gear as long as feasible, but still avoids bad situations. I'm guessing it still downshifts (lower gear) when get you to 1500 rpm or such, but I don't want to bounce off the rev limiter in all manual modes now - I need you to actually SHIFT for me. It's even doing it in "D" mode (GT1 cable shifter) if I use the paddles once - in "D", it should really shift at 6000 or whatever, even if it's gone to manual, IMHO.

This isn't for daily driving so much, but for me at HPDE. I'm still learning, but I want to keep the same gear, rather than constantly have it go to 6th or 7th because I stopped accelerating, only to have to quickly downshift again once I'm back to accelerating. This worked GREAT with the original TCU in manual, TCS on / ECS on (i.e. default) mode, but that's gone now. If we can't fix that, I may have to return / sell. I want to do more track days, but I'm not good enough to always remember to shift now in the heat of the moment - especially when I haven't had a manual car in 20 years - and I don't want to constantly hit the rev limiter and bog down.

Installed the pressure 2 tcu on friday. Launch control should feel like this from the factory. Ordered a dragy and I’m going to compare 0-60 between stock tcu launch vs Lozic tcu launch when it arrives and cools off a little. From the videos I recorded on my phone it’s about .25 seconds quicker giving me just below a 4.5 second 0-60 but I want to get some accurate data and practice more with the launch. (Also i have the stock ecu/no piggyback)

Something I don’t like is that in Comfort mode when trying to drive normal or smoothly it holds the gear a tad longer between shifts through gears 1-4 which results in a slight jolt between shifts. I was hoping that it would remain as smooth between shifts when trying to drive slow or with passengers.

What I do like is that when I’m paddle shifting in any mode it doesn’t go back to “D” unless I force it to or you come to a stop. Sport mode is very aggressive and it downshifts much sooner when braking. The shifts at half throttle and wot are strong and fast, it’s a very noticeable difference. As I mentioned before the launch control is proper now and can squeal tires.

I would have to agree that pressure 2 is the way to go for most people, I’m sure pressure 3 is fun but not really what I would want/need in my daily driver sportback sedan.
