The oem that was on my carWhen you say "your" AWD pipes, you mean the ones from Quicksilver or the ones currently on your car? My understanding is that there is a difference in the bracket placement, which I don't want to mess with. SUPER interested in them if I can get a set.
It's almost impossible to determine actual volume from a clip like this.really quiet. Has a nice tone though. Too bad it wasnt at the same Db levels as MBRP or Ark
not really if you take into account the background noise. hear how much louder the bovs are over the exhaustIt's almost impossible to determine actual volume from a clip like this.
FWIW, on a different car, StungTn measured the decibels at between 67-82 depending on driving mode and revs, which is what I'd consider "loud enough" but then again I'm not trying to annoy my neighborhood either, lol. Note, lack of drone, and free flow are more important to me than loudness.
They are aware of some of the fitment issues and are looking at the tooling and manufacturing process to correct this for the next batch.
Thats meYes please post the clips to YouTube. Either way I'm probably going to be one of those 10 who need to reserve a set, who do I contact about that?
Ark pipes. Would be even louder with catless downpipes or 200-400 cell cats on downpipesSounds really nice to me. You said you have their downpipes on too?
Glad to hear that they are interested in resolving this and continuing to be a reliable company for us to deal with.I am in communication with them over the fitment. Hopefully we can get this resolved, especially for those who have purchased already and are not into cutting or bending the system.
The BOVs do sound pretty loud, when the mic was pointed at the hood...not really if you take into account the background noise. hear how much louder the bovs are over the exhaust
Please include me - Im in.Here are some cold start, revs and blow off
So here is an update with all the information that I have. The first batch(17) have sold out. These systems were back in stock at Quicksilver, because their vendor in Korea shut down, so the systems were sent back. These systems were discounted bare bones to us for that reason.

All orders that were paid have shipped today or will ship Friday. As they are under LOCKDOWN rules, they have a limited staff and hours right now.
Any orders after the original 17 would not have been able to use the coupon code, due to them being out of stock.
The coupon code still applies to the secondary pipes. There are 10 sets left.
The next run was supposed to be 40% off for us, since we had been so gracious to purchase their whole stockpile. Originally, like twenty minutes ago, the owner agreed to the 40% off to start the production run again, but a minimum of 10 systems have to be spoken for. After negotiations with the owner(Paul) as far as the 50% that was in place when stock ran out, Paul has agreed to keep the 50% in effect if 20 systems are ordered.
Shipping will continue to be free to North America for the next month or so.
Please reach out to me if you want the 40%- 50% off and I will add you to the list set at 10 or 20 systems.
The sooner we know who is committed the sooner the production run will start

I'd be interested in hearing more clips, from inside the car during a hard pull, drive bys, etc but like I said, my personal preferences don't make outright volume the main concern and the only data set we have says it's loud enough for my preference.
I do like the MBRP too. I was saving up for that set when I found out about this one.I agree. Just like i know Borla is the loudest next to dump valves but Its just a touch too loud for me. I have to start my car in the garage and on cold illinois days it wouldnt be pretty for me. My wife wanted to kill me when i had my dump valves
I went with Xforce after taht and it was way to quiet. Didnt sound all that great either. Now im on MBRP and i really enjoy the tone. Almost as loud as JunBL but definitely no where near the Dbs as Borla. Its a happy median for me.
I do think this quick silver sounds amazing if only it could be turned up a couple notches. I wonder what throwing that welded crimp mid pipe would do for my MBRP.
Borla was too loud you say? I have exhaust cutouts in front of the mufflers and the cold start was not that loud. Borla can't be straight pipe loud or mustang loud. Maybe louder than stock mustang. Have yet to hear a Borla in person
