Finally got my JB4 Installed and OMG! this is amazing!

So I did a mixture of 4 Gallons e85 and rest of the tank 93

Dyno'd on map 5 440WHP 499Torque

So I was doing a few 0-60 runs to see it in action the best i could get was 4.59 I think im losing traction. Map 3-5 are giving me issues with traction I suppose can someone take a look at these logs and let me know if everything looks ok?

Btw I am a 2019 AWD GT

Thanks in advanced :)

I don't know jack about reading logs, but the JB4 has a boost by gear feature. Might be worth experimenting with.

Im such a tuner newbie I wouldn't even know what to mess with ahaha
Im thinking when the weather finally breaks a set of nice summer tires should help I have the stock all seasons on right now.

I just noticed I didn’t post this in the JB4 section can a mod move it?

Tuning side looks good, AWD should not have traction issues, but can't hurt to set 1st gear to say 3psi as a test. That will lower boost in 1st by 3psi.

thank you! Sorry for the newb question but how would I adjust that via the app?

this is only my second day with the JB4.

Ditch or greatly reduce the e85 and you will go faster. That throttle close on shift slows you down. Trims too high.
Try half or less of the E and maybe a little booster instead if trying map 3, 5.

When you take off your throttle looks to be opening and closing im assuming your are wheel hopping. What tires are you on?

Yeah I don’t have a test kit yet but I ordered one not too educated on the mixtures yet.

so either 2 gallons of the e85 rest 93?
Or a can of boostane and fill up with 93?

I'd try 93 and boostane first and see how the trims and shifts look then slowly add in more E85.
The throttle up and down is during LC before you launched. Wheel spin won't show up in the throttle unless it slams fully shut and you would know it.

Good point i forgot about LC. Its been so long since ive even tried to launch :( Tonka is right on this one. There may not be any wheel hop. I only see the throttle issue betweeen the 1-2 gear switch.

Where does the car cap off again on stock LC 1500 RPM?

It's usually between about 2250 and 2500rpms. Mostly on the lower end of that spectrum.

I think it’s 2000

man I’m itching to see this full beast unleashed lol I ordered a 16oz bottle of boostane premium on amazon wont get to my door until Monday.

so if I used 4gal e85 and the rest 93 you think 2 gallons and the rest 93 will work on map 3?

or would you recommend just using my 93 on map 2 until the boostane comes?

You don't need any E85 for map 3. Boostane is all that's needed for that map.

93 octane alone is fine for map 2.

Thank you I’m going to run map 2 until the boostane arrives

Just reporting back here you guys were right it was crappy fuel.

I did half a bottle of boostane w93 and she running a lot smoother on map 3!

Yeaaa, E85 can be really inconsistent in blend and can massively mess with your results.

This is why I prefer WMI since I mix it myself and can be assured I'm getting the right mix each and every single time. It's also part of why I had investigated installing a universal WMI kit to begin with: I could fill up on 4.5 gallons of E85, and month-to-month was slightly variable power each time. I even went through purges (two full tanks of no E85) to reset, and the same thing happens. E85 is so hydroscopic that while it's a great "race" fuel/octane booster for cheap, it's really inconsistent coming out of a pump. The moment I went to WMI, it was consistent performance each and every time, including the fact that cooling the air charge meant more consistent temperatures.

^On top of that it can help keep those intake valves nice and clean.

It's too bad it has the potential to cause premature wear in the combustion chamber, rings, and even bearings, according to one study, IIRC.

True but that test was straight meth over a long time. Meth injection is about 1% of the time so prob see more wear in a million miles or so.
