Tried the search function, saw nothing indicative of a post about this. However, I have been known to look for my phone while holding it...

Is there a downpipe option for 2.0s yet? Would it make much of a difference? Looks like the DPs for the 3.3 possibly make a difference even without tuning.

Cheers,
Jesse

Kunstwerk have a 2.0L cat-back. They can possibly sell you just the midpipe (if that's what you're referring to as a downpipe).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Friend of mine fabricated it for me yesterday. It's not difficult to make it. We bought 2 gaskets, fabricated flanges using those gaskets, then....then it's easy.

I flashed my car using Sedox.com chip. Now the car revs and pulls until redline. Aproximately 300hp.

Does he provide any evidence of it? Curious, not saying it's not right (there are ways to calculate power without a dyno chart - if you know how much air you're burning and know your AFRs, you can calculate power levels pretty well).

M8, to calculate correct power in a car with automatic gearbox, you need to get the engine out and strap it to the engine dyno, because it's impossible to calculate correctly transmission losses, but that's a long talk and a different discussion. That's why I didn't bother taking my car to the dyno.

Those are the guys who provided the tune Sedox Performance ECU Power and ECO Remaps for Kia Stinger - 2.0 T-GDI 255hp (188kW) 353Nm .

Stock car does 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, my car did in 7.1 with just a tune. With new downpipe I will test it tonight and see how it goes. As I said decat gives aproximately +/- 20hp on the flywheel.

I'm thinking of having a shop replace stock cat with a high flow cat since I'm not interested in a tune just yet. Would there be any concerns doing so without a tune? Can I expect similar hp gains?

Hi, I'm looking to ride it to mine, do you really notice the difference in performance? I just want to gain benefits and no sound since I have been behind sports escapes and I love how it sounds.

I worry about that downpipe. Theres not flex piping like the factory one. If that motor shifts lile that, I hope you dont have problems.

Is that the primary cat delete? I just want to delete the secondary cat. I have heard that deleting the primary cat will cause a CEL....is that true?

There is no flex piping on stock 2.0 catalyst

You can mitigate the downstream/secondary o2 sensor by using an anti-fouler/O2 extension pipe. This tricks the secondary O2 sensor into thinking the cat is still there and functioning. No CEL and no software changes needed.

There are even ones like these that have a mini catalytic converter built in, just to be totally sure no codes will pop up. Pretty cool I think.

Also, if someone is concerned about the exhaust flexing, you can always add a flex pipe section somewhere after the downpipe. Easy peezy.

So is that piece a direct fit or does it need extra adjusting? Also, does it increase the sound in the cabin?

This is from sharkracing. They also have it without a racing cat.
