Now that 2020's come with the Stinger script logo in the rear instead of a Kia badge, are there still the holes under it?

I bet there are. And I bet the larger "Stinger" script has pegs to go in them.

I'm going to bet that the deck lid won't have holes any longer. The KDM Stinger script badges don't have pegs, but the KIA ovals do.

Using an exiting placement jig at the factory for script badges, plus lowering production cost by eliminating die complexity or hole punch operations. Win - win.

I think the holes are still there ......................who's going to pull off their badge to see , conversely the new badges might have pins as suggested , we should know soon .......................

highly likely that there will be holes under the script. makes it impossible for the badge to be placed incorrectly at the factory.

I don't see there being a flood of new owners pulling that badge off.

Probably holes in it. Canadian Stingers still come with the oval badges.

Has anyone confirmed that all 2020 Stingers come with the large Stinger script on the rear in lieu of the KIA badge? I'm asking because several 2020 owners have posted on social media and they still have the KIA badge on the rear.

Considering the Stinger might be getting a refresh very shortly, it doesn't make much production sense to retool that rear panel for a single model year; therefore, probably still has holes.

The badge does cover the holes perfectly if installed correctly. There is no issue having them.

Also, Canadian Stingers still get the oval badges? Why do we continue to get shafted on our car offerings. RUDE.

When the new version of the STINGER script badge is ready in various colors, I'm sure at least a few people will remove their stock piece to replace it. We'll find out for sure then. I have a lot of requests for black chrome, shiny black and matte black...
Hi Sal are you going to make them in one piece or are you just reworking the OEM badges ?

Thanks

They're being made in two pieces. The manufacturer is using the same material as the OEM version but it's just too thin to be so long without a break in the middle. The original manufacturer made it a two-piece emblem for the same reason..

My dealer told me that they could order from the factory with Stinger script

So does the smaller OEM badge from the original models, just FYI for those wondering. That's what I used.
